Dear Compassionate God,

Be with us during this time as we reflect on what we can do to respond to the HIV/AIDS crisis. Help us to be truly brothers and sisters to those who are struggling with this disease. Teach us ways to bring the Gospel of hope to those who are suffering. Instill in our hearts a generosity that will enable us to share our resources. Give us the strength and courage to combat this life-threatening disease both here at home and around the globe. Let those in need know that we understand and support them and their fight against HIV/AIDS.

Also DGAAN, DuPage Glocal AIDS Action Network, will be celebrating its 5-year anniversary. You will be informed about Dgaan's past accomplishments and continued efforts.

Community members and advocates will gather while church bells ring every 5 seconds to mark the fact that, on average, there is a new HIV infection or AIDS death every 5 seconds.
